He then performed in a few episodes of the TV shows The Drama Company and Indian Idol. He once performed a comic act in the TV comedy show The Kapil Sharma Show (2019) as young Navjot Singh Sidhu, which received great appreciation.

In 2019, he made his Bollywood debut with the Hindi film ‘Luka Chuppi’ in which he played the role of Chikoo.

He played a small role in the Hindi film ‘Angrezi Medium’ (2020). Samarth gained immense popularity for his role as Potlu in the horror Hindi film ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.’
