In 2019, Sagar Rathee participated for the first time in the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL). He earned a total points of 22. At a match in PKL 2019, he was awarded the Dream11 Gamechanger of the Match.

In 2021, he participated in the 38th All India Men Kabaddi Championship (AIMKC) held in Gotegaon, Madhya Pradesh in which he earned a total of 118 tackle points. In 2021, he was bought for Rs 8 lakh by the Tamil Thalaivas team for the Pro Kabaddi League season 8. In his second season of PKL, he picked up 82 tackle points and 1 raid point.

 

For season 9 of PKL in 2022, he was auctioned for Rs 37.50 lakh by the team Tamil Thalaivas. He earned 53 total tackle points and 8 super tackles. In 2023, he was a part go the winning team at North Zone Inter University Kabaddi Men’s Championship held in Punjab.

Facts/Trivia

• In 2022, during season 9 of the Pro Kabaddi League, Rathee sustained a knee injury while playing for the Tamil Thalaivas in their Pro Kabaddi match against the team Jaipur Pink Panthers at the Gachibowli Indoor Complex in Hyderabad.
