In 2021, he was bought for Rs 8 lakh by the Tamil Thalaivas team for the Pro Kabaddi League season 8. In his second season of PKL, he picked up 82 tackle points and 1 raid point.

- In 2022, during season 9 of the Pro Kabaddi League, Rathee sustained a knee injury while playing for the Tamil Thalaivas in their Pro Kabaddi match against the team Jaipur Pink Panthers at the Gachibowli Indoor Complex in Hyderabad.
