Career

At the age of two, Rick started performing on stage. At the age of four, he made his Television debut as a series regular ‘Ricky Stevens’ in the musical sitcom, The Partridge Family (1970-1974).

He has acted in many television series, such as Temperatures Rising (1972), Little House On The Prairie (1974), Police Woman (1974), The Blue Knight (1975), Fernwood Tonight (1975), How To Eat Like A Child (1981), and I Love Liberty (1982). He made his film debut with The Last Married Couple In America (1980) as ‘Charlie Thompson’ and has acted in the films, Oh, God! Book II (1980) and Laker Girls (1990).

He has also been a part of the famous talk shows, The Tonight Show, The Merv Griffin Show, The Mike Douglas Show, The Carol Burnett Show, and two seasons of The Tim Conway Show as a series regular.

At the age of 12, he shifted his attention to theatres and made his debut with Anthony Newley’s musical “Chaplin.”

He has acted in many plays, such as Brighton Beach Memoirs, Biloxi Blues, Broadway Bound, Come Blow Your Horn, I’m Not Rappaport, The Music Man, Danny & The Deep Blue Sea, Oliver, Fiddler On The Roof, Hamlet (which he also directed), and Saint John In Exile (a one-person play). In 2004, he became the Director of The Harvest Academy Conservatory of Fine Art and also taught theatre to children at the academy. In 2018, Rick and Korbin Miles (actor) opened a reaction YouTube channel, OUR STUPID REACTIONS. He has another YouTube channel by the name, Rick Segall, in which he posts videos on travel, his life, and shares tips on acting.
