R Sai Kishore started playing cricket in school and he was part of the school team. Upon completing his school, R Sai Kishore joined an engineering college but soon realized that he could not connect with the path he was on. He decided to drop out of college as during this time he was playing for the U-19 domestic team. Ravisrinivasan was playing for the Tamil Nadu team and they won both, Vijay Hazare and Deodhar titles in 2016-17. His first-class debut took place in 2017-18 and he has played several times in the Ranji Trophy. In the 2020 Indian Premier League, Ravisrinivasan Sai Kishore was bought by Chennai Super Kings for the base price of Rs. 20 lakhs.
