She has a younger brother and sister named Ravindra Jadeja and Padmini Jadeja. Ravindra Jadeja is a prominent Indian cricket player.

Career

Before venturing into politics, Naina worked as a nurse in a local hospital. Reportedly, she helped her brother, Ravindra Jadeja in his struggling days in cricket after the death of their mother. She supported him financially and played an important role in Ravindra’s life and career.

In 2019, Naina Jadeja joined the Indian National Congress in Rajkot, Gujarat along with Patidar Anamat movement leader Hardik Patel.

She is an active political leader from the Jamnagar constituency of Gujarat. She also works as the District Women’s Congress President of Jamnagar.

Controversy

In 2016, Naina Jadeja attracted controversy when she lodged an FIR against Absolute Events, an Ahmedabad-based event management company, for cheating. Reportedly, this event management company was hired to plan the wedding of Ravindra Jadeja in 2016; however, Jadeja’s fired the company following poor service. According to Naina Jadeja, they paid the company an advance amount of rupees six lakhs, but after the cancellation of the deal, the company did not return it. She filed the complaint at Rajkot Taluka police station. ^[3]Cricket Country Later, she claimed in the media that the owner of the event management company threatened her when she tried to contact him for a refund. She said,

We had to switch to the services of a local event management company at the last minute. After the wedding, I contacted Absolute Events to discuss return of the advance payment of Rs 6 lakh but they threatened me. In fact, Kaival Patel switched off his mobile phone.” ^[4]Mumbai Mirror
