Monika Bhadoriya was born on Tuesday, 1 November 1988 (age 34 years; as of 2022) in Patel Nagar, Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. Her zodiac sign is Scorpio. She was fascinated by the world of entertainment since childhood. While in college, Monika participated in Miss MP beauty contest and came out as the winner of the competition. Monika started her career as a model in 2010 by doing several advertisements and print shoots.

She made her acting debut in 2011 by doing a small role in the TV serial “Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.” Subsequently, she appeared in TV serials like “Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?” and “Sajda Tere Pyaar Mein.” In 2013, Monika bagged the role of ‘Bawri,’ the love interest of Jethalal’s employee, Bagha, in SAB TV’s serial “Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.” She gained popularity in the show for her dialogue “Haay! Haay! Galti se mistake ho gayi.” She has also appeared in the Bollywood film “Singham Returns.”

Accused Asit Modi of misbehaviour
Following Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal‘s allegations of sexual harassment against producer Asit Modi, Monika Bhadoriya came forward and accused him of behaving inappropriately and treating her unfairly. Monika supported Jennifer Mistry’s claims of harassment by Asit Modi and additionally revealed that co-stars Disha Vakani and Munmun Dutta were aware of Jennifer’s situation. Monika stated that Munmun and Asit Modi used to have frequent conflicts. According to Monika, after she departed from the show in 2019, the production team failed to pay her outstanding dues for three months, amounting to approximately Rs. 4-5 lakhs, for more than a year. While recounting her experiences on the set of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Monika revealed,
They had promised me to hike my fee after six months, but they never did. Wo paise ki beimaani karti hai. Sach mein wo kutte ki jaisa treat karte hain. Unhone mere saath bohot ganda behave kiya hai. And their EP Sohil Ramani is the worst. Bohot badtameez hai wo. Unhone toh Natttu kaka ko bhi abuse kiya tha.”
She added,
I was in a trauma but he only called me seven days after my mother’s death, asking me to report on the set. When I said I wasn’t in condition, his team said, ‘Hum aapko paisa de rahe hai, hum jab chahe aap ko khada hona padega chahe aap ki Mummy admit ho ya koi.’ I went to the set because I had no option and I would just cry everyday.
