At the age of seven, he was labelled as “genius” at the Pogo Amazing Kids awards in 2011. Mohamed Ashik is the originator of the International Peace and Economic Development Organization and is regarded as a peace activist.
Mohamed Ashik was born on Sunday, 25 January 2004 (age 17 years; as of 2021) in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India. His zodiac sign is Aquarius. He attained his higher school education from Le Chatelier School, Madurai, The Hindu and later, he went on to attend Kendriya Vidyalaya in Madurai for senior secondary education.

Ashik, at the age of six, became the youngest child who pointed to 195 countries on a plain world map in three minutes. This test was successfully finished by him in front of approximately 5000 people. At the age of seven, Ashik began delivering motivational speeches while inspiring the audiences to work for international cooperation and development. He is titled as the Child Scientist by DST 2019 – Research on Traditional Knowledge Systems of India. In 2010, Dr A P J Abdul Kalam examined the talent of Ashik in Madurai.
Ashik founded International Peace and Economic Development Organization at the age of 14. His motto of peace activism is “It Begins With You.”
