Isabelle Eleanor Chih Ming Wong aka Isabelle Wong aka Issy Wong was born on Wednesday, 15 May 2002 (age 20 years; as of 2022) in Chelsea, London, England. Her zodiac sign is Taurus. She moved to Warwickshire at the age of 5 and started attending Bentley Heath Primary School in Solihull, where she later got enrolled in a cricket program named Chance to Shine which was conducted after the school timings. She was one of the two girls out of a group of 50 boys. She joined the Knowle and Dorridge Cricket Club near her house at the age of eight. Her family discovered other prominent family members when she took up cricket professionally. Her two grand uncles played for Hong Kong’s national cricket team which included Donald Anderson, who debuted for the Hong Kong team at the age of seventeen, was a member of the Hong Kong Army and was killed by a Japanese sniper in the Battle of Hong Kong in 1941. She had a great-grandmother named Phyllis Nolasco da Silva who recruited and ran a network of spies in China to help British forces during the Second World War after Anderson’s death. Silva was awarded King’s Medal for service in the Cause of Freedom, the highest civilian wartime award of the UK after the war.

She was one of the founder members of the women’s section of the Berkswell Cricket Club, established in 2015. She was selected for the School Games National Cricket Finals in 2018. She played for the Worcestershire team in 2018. She became the first girl player of Shrewsbury School’s Boys 1st XI in 2019. She was a member of the Warwickshire senior team which won the 2019 Women’s T20 Cup and the under-17 team which won the national competition in 2019. She signed a contract with the West Midlands regional hub in 2020. She played in the inaugural edition of the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy for Central Sparks in 2020. She signed a full-time domestic contract with England and Wales Cricket Board in December 2020. For the 2019-20 season, she was selected for the England Academy squad. She emerged as the third-highest wicket-taker with 14 wickets in the 2021 Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy.

She played her debut T20I match on 21 July 2022 against South Africa at Chelmsford, England and gave 19 runs in four overs without any wicket.

She signed up with Hobart Hurricanes for the 2022-23 WBBL season; however, she did not play that season due to being injured.
