Hrishikesh Joshi is an Indian film, television, and theatre actor. He has mostly worked in Marathi films and TV serials.

Career
He started his career as a theatre artist and has performed in more than 50 theatre plays in Hindi, Marathi, and Sanskrit. He has performed in more than 400 shows for the commercial play Mukkampost Bombilwadi. He has acted in more than 150 shows for the commercial play Sangeet Lagnakallol and performed in more than 150 shows for the Marathi play, Love Story.
In 1987, he debuted in the Hindi film, âSutradhar.â He has worked in various National Award-winning films, including ‘Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar’ (2010), ‘Harishchandrachi Factory’ (2010), ‘Deool’ (2011), ‘Vishnupant Damle: The Unsung Hero Of Talkies’ (2012), ‘Aajcha Divas Majha’ (2014), and ‘Yellow’ (2014).
He has also acted in a few Marathi TV serials, like âGhadlay Bighadlayâ (1999), âShi. Gangadhar Tipareâ (2001), and âSpandanâ (2017). He is a columnist too and writes for the famous Marathi newspaper, Loksatta.
In 2018, he debuted as a director with the Marathi film, âHome Sweet Home.â He has appeared in a few Hindi web-series including, âBreatheâ (2018), âHundredâ (2020), and âBreathe: Into the Shadowsâ (2020).
