Career
When Da’vian Kimbrough was seven years old, he started playing football for North Bay Elite Futbol Club in Solano County, and he later played for the Woodland Soccer Club of Yolo County.

In 2021, he joined Sacramento Republic FC’s Youth Academy and played for Under-13, Under-14, and Under-15 matches. He scored 27 goals in 31 matches for the Republic FC’s Under-13 team in the 2021-22 season. He helped the New York Red Bulls Academy team win the 2023 Bassevelde Under-13 Cup for under-13 teams in Belgium and won the Tournament MVP Award.

On 8 August 2023, Kimbrough was signed by Sacramento Republic FC for USL Championship, the second-tier soccer League in the USA following which he became the youngest-ever professional athlete in US sports at the age of 13 years, 5 months, and 13 days. After signing the contract, Kimbrough thanked his parents, grandparents, and coaches and said,
I want to thank my parents and grandparents and my coaches and the academy. They helped me grow to be the player I am. I thank them for believing in me.â
