Bhargavi Chirmuley was born on Wednesday, 29 March 1978 (age 45 years; as of 2023) in Girgaon, Mumbai. Her Zodiac sign is Aries. Her parents moved to Dadar after some time, where she completed her schooling at Raja Shivaji Vidyalaya. Later, she studied at Doongasree Gangji Ruparel College. In her college days, she started doing small plays and dramas which built her interest in acting.

Film
She started her acting career with the Marathi film Vishwavinayak (1994) in which she appeared as the daughter of Dagdu; the role of Dagdu was played by the famous Marathi actor Kishore Nandlaskar. She was the leading actress in the film Ideachi Kalpana as Preeti Thakur released in 2010. In 2012, she played the character of Suman in the film One Room Kitchen. She appeared in a comedy thriller, Sandook, as Rukmini Ashtaputre released in 2015. She was the lead actress in the film Hichyasathi Kay Pan released in 2018. In 2022, she was in the leading role of an award-winning Marathi film, Gulhar. She appeared in cameo roles in various films like T. K. Patil (1994), Navra Maza Bhavra (2013), and Oli Ki Suki (2017).

She made her debut with the 90s superhit Marathi show Prapanch as Bhargavi Deshmukh, which ran for 3 years. She appeared as Bhairavi Kirloskar in the drama show Vahinisaheb from 2006 to 2009. She played a character of a Lavani dancer in the show Pinjara in 2011. She participated in a comedy show, Fu Bai Fu, and a dance reality show, Eka Peksha Ek, in 2011, and she won the latter. She appeared in a famous Hindi TV serial, Siya Ke Ram, in which she played the character of Sunaina (Sita’s mother) on StarPlus during 2015-2016. She played the character of Mukta in a TV serial, Molkarin Bai – Mothi Tichi Savali (2019). In 2021, she made a special appearance in Bigg Boss Marathi season 3. She appeared as Meenakshi in a TV show, Aai – Mayech Kavach(2021). She started working in a historic TV show, Lokmanya, as Radhabai, which was telecasted on Zee Marathi in 2022.
