Ashika Asokan started making TikTok videos and Instagram reels in her college days, and over time she got popular for her videos. She has a base of four lakhs and eighty thousand followers on her Instagram as of August 2023. She often posts photoshoots on her Instagram in collaboration with clothing brands, jewellery brands and makeup artists. - During an interview, Ashika revealed that soon after completing the shoot of the film Missing Girl, she got an offer for a Tamil film whose casting coordinator misbehaved with her during the shoot and even offered her a car worth twenty-five lacs within a month if she agrees to compromise for a couple of hours. She said at first she didn’t realise how to react to the situation and later she complained to the assistant directors of the film who helped her. While describing the incident she stated,
