After working there for a year, he joined the consumer electronic company ‘Best Buy’ as a sales associate in Victoria, Canada. He then shifted his focus to pursue his career as a singer. In 2019, he released his first Punjabi single “Fake” followed by singles “Faraar” and “Top Boy.”
In 2020, he released a few more Punjabi singles like “Most Wanted,” “Droptop,” “Excuses,” and “Free Smoke.” He gained immense popularity with his Punjabi song “Brown Munde” along with the singers Gurinder Gill & Shinda Kahlon.

On 21 November 2021, he released the Punjabi music album “Hidden Gems” including songs like “Majhe Alle,” “Spaceship,” “Tere Te,” and “War.” Most of the songs which he has released are made in the collaboration with the Punjabi singer Gurinder Gill.
In November 2021, he visited India for his first live concert ‘AP Dhillon: The Takeover Tour’ across the six cities in India. The India based consumer electronics brand ‘boAt’ collaborated with AP Dhillon for his live tour. During an interview, while talking about his live tour, he said,

Indian fans across the country and the world over have been my loudest supporters and have helped our music find its rightful place on a global stage.
