In 2023, Alireza Mirzaeian took part in the 2nd edition of the World Junior Kabaddi Championship held in Iran in which his team finished up as runners-up. In the same year, Alireza Mirzaeian participated in the 11th Edition of the Asian Kabaddi Championship which was held at Busan, Republic of Korea, in which he represented the Iran Kabaddi team that won the silver medal in the tournament.
In the same year, Alireza also became part of the Iranian squad by participating in the 19th Asian Games held in Hangzhou, China where the Iranian Kabaddi team won the silver medal.
In 2023, he was picked out by the Maharashtrian Kabaddi team ‘U Mumba’ for 16 lakh rupees to play in the 10th season of the Pro Kabaddi League, held in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
