Aarti Mittal aka Aarti Harishchandra Mittal ^[2]Patrika was born on Sunday, 18 October 1992 (age 30 years; as of 2022) in Palwal, Haryana. Her zodiac sign is Libra. When she was 6 years old, her family moved to Delhi. There, she did her schooling at Tagore Public School and Mira Model School. She then did a course in teaching. Before pursuing her graduation, she started working as a nursery class teacher at Tagore Public School. At the beginning of her career, she did a job at a private firm in Delhi. After working there for a few months, she left her job. She then started a gym named ‘Bold Gym’ in Gurgaon in partnership. Due to the COVID-19 lockdown, her gym was closed in 2020. She then started an event management company Plantastic Group and organised Mr and Miss Haryana contest. However, due to a lack of sponsors, she suffered major financial losses.

After completing her MBA, she joined a theatre group in Delhi and performed in a few theatre plays.

She has worked as a model in print advertisements for House of Platter, Arabian Dating Site, and Mayank Creation. She has been featured in TV commercials for various brands like Trinity Soaps, Mellora Jewellery, Amrit Jal, and Revolt Pro Protein. Aarti has been featured in various Hindi, Punjabi, and Haryanvi music videos. In 2023, she appeared in the Hindi music video Ye Dil Bechara.

In 2019, she made her acting debut with the Hindi web series ‘Virgin Bhasskar,’ which streamed on ALT Balaji and ZEE5. She played a cameo role in the series.

Controversy

Arrested For Running a Sex Racket

On 17 April 2023, Aarti was arrested by the Mumbai Crime Branch for running a sex racket in the Goregaon area. Reportedly, police inspector Manoj Sutar got a tip that Aarti was running a sex racket in Goregaon. Manoj, along with his team, then planned a sting operation on Aarti and contacted her as one of the clients. ^[4]The Times of India According to the sources,

Mittal sent pictures of two women on PI Sutar’s phone and told him that these models will come either to Juhu or Goregaon-based hotels. Sutar booked two rooms in Goregaon and sent two dummy customers. Mittal arrived with two young women and also gave them condoms. All of this has been recorded on spy cameras.”

Later, the hotels were raided by the Social Service Branch in Mumbai, where Aarti was caught red-handed, and an FIR was filed against Aarti at Dindoshi Police Station. During the investigation, the models told the police that Aarti had promised to pay them Rs 15,000 each. In an interview, while talking about Aarti’s arrest, a police officer from Dindoshi Police Station said,

We have arrested the alleged accused for running a prostitution racket in the film industry and supplying models to customers to earn money. We have registered a case against Mittal under Section 370 of the IPC and other relevant sections for girls trafficking. The case has been transferred to the Unit 11 crime branch for further investigation.”
