Vijay Kiragandur began his career as a film producer in the Kannada film industry. In 2014, he debuted in the film ‘Ninnidale’ starring Puneeth Rajkumar and Erica Fernandes.

He produced the films MasterPiece in 2015 followed by Raajakumara in 2017, Yuvarathna in 2020, and Kantara in 2022. Vijay gained immense popularity by giving blockbuster sequel films, K.G.F: Chapter 1 (2018) and K.G.F: Chapter 2 (2022) starring Yash and Srinidhi in leading roles.
