Vandana Gupte

Vandana Gupte is an Indian actress known for her work in Marathi theatre, television, and films. She is best known for playing the role of ‘Nilambari Pandey’ in Zee TV’s comedy serial ‘Kareena Kareena’ in 2004.


Vandana Gupte was born on Tuesday, 26 March 1963 (age 60 years; as of 2023) in Pune, where she completed her studies in Pune, Maharashtra, India. Later, Gupte pursued acting as a career.

She became a part of the Marathi television series ‘Sukhachya Sarini He Man Baware’ (2020) playing the role of Durga Tatwawadi.


Gupte has acted in 50 plays. She started her career in 1970 with the Marathi language all-women play ‘Padmashree Dhundiraj.’ This was followed by many plays such as ‘Madanbaadhaa,’ ‘Gaganbhedi,’ ‘Jhunja,’ ‘Char Diwas Premache,’ etc. Later, she appeared in a Hindi play named ‘Char Din Pyaar Ke.’ Her Marathi play ‘Haravlelya Pattyancha Banglaa’ gained a lot of applause from the audience.
