Todd Murphy is an Australian cricketer, who plays for the Australia team primarily as a Bowler. A left-hand batsman and right-arm off-break bowler, Murphy represents Sydney Sixers and Victoria Second XI at the domestic level. He got his Test cap (465) for Australia against India on 9 February 2023 in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy series opener at the VCA stadium in Nagpur, Maharashtra, India.

Todd Murphy was born on Wednesday, 15 November 2000 (age 22 years; as of 2022) in Echuca, Victoria, Australia. His zodiac sign is Scorpio. Todd’s father hails from Mathoura in country NSW, where he grew up before resettling in Moama. Todd grew up in the NSW town of Moama, New South Wales, Australia. After completing his schooling, Todd enrolled himself at Deakin University in Victoria to pursue a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science/Bachelor of Business (Sport Management). Soon, he was noticed by Craig Howard, a former Australian cricketer, at an under-16 training session in Rochester. Subsequently, he began playing club cricket at Moama Cricket Club. He has also played cricket for Victorian Premier Cricket Club, St Kilda, for two seasons.

Todd Murphy made his List A debut for Victoria Second XI against Tasmania on 10 March 2021 in Melbourne.
First Class
On 3 April 2021, Murphy made his first-class debut for Victoria in the 2020-21 Sheffield Shield season. In his second first-class match, Todd made 7 dismissals and scored 24 runs to help Victoria win the match over Tasmania. During 2022-23 Sheffield Shield season, Todd Murphy was regarded as the most prolific spinner and was widely tipped as the heir apparent to Nathan Lyon. He scalped 29 wickets at 25.20 in his first 10 first-class matches.
