Career
In 2019, Sunny Arya ventured into the entertainment industry with his YouTube channel Tehelka Prank on which he uploaded funny prank videos. At the beginning, he used to pull pranks in public, later, he started making prank video with his family member, his parents and wife. His humorous and relatable content gained popularity amid the COVID-19 lockdown.

Once he acted to be drunk and pulled a prank on his father. The video was immensely liked by the audience following which netizens started demanding prank videos of his father.

Later, he established a YouTube channel and an Instagram account titled Helping Sunny Arya which featured videos of his charitable work. In the videos, he can be seen reaching out to help the underprivileged by providing them with food, clothes, wheelchairs, etc.

Facts/Trivia
- In an interview, he talked about how he came up with the name “Tehelka Prank” for his YouTube channel. He said that he was a notorious kid in childhood who used to mimic the voices of a girl or an old man to amuse his friends. Some of his friends would say “Tu sahi tehelka machata hai” and some said “Sahi tabaahi macha rakhi hai tuhne school mein.” Years later, when he decided to start a YouTube channel he was confused between the words “Tehelka” and “Tabaahi” to name his channel. After discussing the same with his wife, he finalized the name Tehelka Prank.
- In an interview, his wife, Deepika, revealed that she had two siblings, a brother and a sister, who were blind. Deepika’s father would often worry about who would look after the blind siblings when he was no more. Deepika, along with her father, wanted to set up something that could feed the blind siblings lifelong. She had no plans to marry when she first met Sunny. However, Sunny impressed her father by promising that he would always look after the blind siblings and provide for them. The gesture led to Deepika’s father agreeing to give him Deepika’s hand in marriage.
