Before appearing in TV shows and in films, he began his acting career as a theatre artist. He has performed in various theatre plays and one of his most famous plays includes Ekda Kay Zale which is Maharashtra Cultural Centre’s Grips play.

Abhishek made his television debut with the show Pasant Aahe Mulgi in 2016 which aired on Zee Marathi. He played the role of Punarvasu (Vasu) in the show.
