Career

At the age of 6, she uploaded a video on a social media platform in which she sang ‘Vande Mataram’ on the occasion of the Independence Day of India. In 2020, she appeared in the popular comedian Michael McIntyre’s Big Show on BBC channel, and she was one of the youngest people to feature on this show. In the same year, she appeared in the TV reality show, ‘Britain’s Got Talent.’ She sang Judy Garland’s song in her audition, but one of the judges of the show, Simon Cowell, stopped her midway and asked Souparnika to sing another song, ‘Never Enough.’ The judges and audience gave her standing ovation and appreciated her performance.

Amanda Holden said,

It’s quite an old fashioned voice you’ve got which I love. You hit every single note, well done.”

On 27 May 2020, the legendary Indian singer, A. R. Rahman shared the clip of Souparnika’s performance with a caption.
