Sahil Verma did a seven months civil engineering internship (July 2012-January 2013) at a multinational conglomerate company named ‘Larsen & Toubro Ltd,’ located in New Delhi. He started working as a freelance filmmaker in July 2013. He has shot and edited various promos and advertisements. In July 2014, he joined the OTT platform TVF, where he worked as a writer, director, and editor. He worked there for more than six years and resigned from the job in July 2020. In 2016, he worked as an editor and actor for the TV mini series ‘Humorously Yours,’ streamed on TVF Play.

In 2017, he acted in the TV mini series ‘Girliyapa,’ which premiered on TVF Play. In the same year, he appeared in the TVF web series ‘Bisht, Please!’ in which he played the role of Chintu.

He worked as an editor, and director for the TV mini series ‘TSP Googly’ in 2018. The series was premiered on TVF Play. He has directed an episode of the satirical TV mini series ‘Rabish Ki Report’ (2018), on the YouTube channel The Screen Patti (a subsidiary company of TVF).
