Sahil Anand was born on Sunday, 1 January 1989 (age 33 years; as of 2022) in Chandigarh, India. His Zodiac sign is Capricorn. He pursued his primary education at St. Kabir School, Chandigarh and high school at DAV College, Chandigarh. Thereafter, he enrolled himself at Shaheed Udham Singh College of Engineering & Technology, Punjab, and studied Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering. Honestly speaking, I’m a very private person and keep things to myself. I don’t share anything about my family – things like what happened or what’s happening, and I like to keep it that way. I have very few friends in the industry and I don’t mingle around or socialise much. I like to keep things on the surface and I would request the media to let this be and try to understand. See, my partner is from the corporate world and is not part of this industry. So, when she sees all this, it disturbs her a great deal.”

The couple become parents of a baby boy named Sahraj Anand on 14 April 2021. Sahil shared his newborn baby photo, and penned a caption saying,
Hi I am Sahraj Anand. I was born on 14th April 2021. My parents are over the moon to have me. They say I am the best gift they have ever received. They love showering me with kisses and cuddles. Commercials
After relocating to Mumbai, Sahil Anand began his acting career as a commercial artist, and in the initial years of his career, he used to work in numerous commercials in a month.
He was featured in many commercials including Venky’s Chicken and the Dineout app.

In 2013, Sahil appeared as a lead character in the Hindi film Babloo Happy Hai. Sahil claimed in an interview that he was first hesitant to sign for the film, but director Nila Madhab Panda showed faith in Sahil’s acting and encouraged him to do Babloo Happy Hai.

In 2016, he got a starring role in Hai Apna Dil Toh Awara. In this film, he was opposite Niyati Joshi and played the role of his boyfriend. In the same year, he portrayed the role of Sandy in the film Love Day- Pyaar Ka Din.

Some of his other Web series are Missing Chapter (2021) and the Bhojpuri web series Saiyaan Magan Pehelwani Mein. Sharing his experience of appearing in a Bhojpuri show, he quoted,
I just wanted to test myself as an actor. I wanted to see how prepared I am for other languages. Right now, I’m trying to do different projects, play different characters, or you can say I’m trying to perform in different languages. You have so many options as an actor, and now on the web platform, we can explore more experimental characters. I’m actually open to different characters and different kinds of work as an actor.”

However, he reactivated his social media accounts after a few days. He also posted an Instagram video apologising to his social media followers for abruptly announcing his decision to leave social media. In the Instagram video, he said,
I did a film two months back…That was a film which was very dark, it was very psychological. So I had to prepare a lot for that film. The shoot went for three days constantly and I never came out of that story when I was shooting that…After the shoot was done, I was not able to come out of it. It took me time but then things were okay with time. But, suddenly abhi uski release ki baat huyi ek tarah se pitching ho rahi thi…toh woh phir se mere saamne movie aayi (there were talks about its release, pitching was going on…I had to face the movie again) and it started again disturbing me. I couldn’t sleep. Things were not that great again.”
