Sanya stayed in the Bigg Boss house last night. We were also shocked to see it. I got divorced when she was two years old. So she did not get her father’s love. Then I got married to one of my friends. That was my wrong decision. The relationship that was there when they were friends got ruined after marriage. Deepa Iyer said that it was enough for Sanya who wanted a father. When I decided to divorce the second husband, he was not ready to give up. Sometimes Sanya was uncomfortable with him. He was staying with us. Once when Sanya and her boyfriend were in a room, he came from the window of the neighbouring house and recorded it on his mobile phone. She narrated an incident when her stepfather recorded a video of Saaniya spending time with her boyfriend. She continued by saying that because of the way her stepfather recorded the video, the entire incident got misconstrued. Television and reality shows

In 2012, Saaniya Iyer made her acting debut with the Colors Kannada television show Putta Gowri Maduve. In the show, she played the role of Putta Gowri.

In 2015, she participated in Colors Kannada dancing reality show Dancing Star.

In 2022, she participated in Voot’s dancing reality show, Dancing Champion; however, she opted for self-eviction as her dancing partner Nikhil got married. In an interview, she talked about this and said,

A lot of people are asking me why we weren’t a part of Dancing Champion anymore and this is the reason! Idk why this wasn’t telecasted anyway Nihal my dancing partner got married and since this was a huge life event there was nothing I could do about it. There were only 4 final episodes left, hence my request for a partner change wasn’t done, I was totally helpless! Sometimes some things are not in your control, you’ve gotta just accept it and let things flow.”
