Career
He has played in many state-level and national-level kabaddi tournaments. He did his kabaddi training at the Sports Authority of India (SAI).
Pro Kabaddi League
In 2021, Rahul made his Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) debut in the eighth season with U Mumba. He played a total of 18 matches in the tournament in which he earned a total of 34 tackle points out of 75 total tackles. In 2022, he was retained by U Mumba for season 9 of PKL. In the tournament, he played 15 matches in which he secured a total of 16 tackle points.

For season 10 of PKL, he was bought by Haryana Steelers for Rs 40.7 lakhs in 2023.
