Pankhuri Awasthy was born on 31 March 1991 in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, in a Hindu family. During her childhood, her family moved to Delhi. She joined Bluebells School International in Delhi. She completed her Bachelor’s of Arts (English Hons.) from the Hindu College, Delhi. Pankhuri has always been active in her school colleges co-curricular activities. She was the part of her college’s Drama Society.

Career
Pankhuri Awasthy is a graduate in English (Hons.). After completing her education joined ITC Hotels in Banglore as the assistant manager. But as she has always been an active participant in college plays, she decided to leave her job and move to Mumbai to try her luck in acting.
Pankhuri Awasthy started her acting career with the episodic show Yeh Hai Aashiqui. Later she appeared in another episodic MTV Fanaah Season 2. She was appreciated for her performance in Razia Sultan as the protagonist Razia Sultan. Pankhuri Awasthy was also featured as ‘Draupadi’ in ‘Suryaputra Karn’ which also applauded her more fame and praise for her performance.
Pankhuri Awasthy was later seen in the TV show ‘Kya Qusoor Hai Amala Ka?’ the Indian version of Turkish TV series ‘Fatmagül’ün Suçu Ne?’.
