In March 2021, Kunal Mehta played for the Himachal Pradesh State Junior Boys Kabaddi team at the 47th Junior National Kabaddi Championship which was held in Suryapet, Telangana. In June 2023, Kunal Mehta again played for the Himachal Pradesh State Junior Boys Kabaddi Team at the Khelo India Youth Games 2022.

Solan District Kabaddi Team

In March 2021, Kunal Mehta played for the Solan District Kabaddi team at the 47th Junior State Kabaadi Championship and won the tournament.

SAI Hostel Bilaspur

In November 2021, Kunal Mehta played at many local and district-level Kabaddi tournaments for the Sports Authority of India Hostel, Bilaspur Kabaddi team. He won many matches and tournaments.
