Dheekshith Shetty was born on Sunday, 22 December 1996 (age 26 years; as of 2022) in Kundapur, Karnataka. He did his schooling at St. Maria Sadan Public School, Bangalore. Television
Dheekshith Shetty started his acting career in 2015 with the Kannada TV series ‘Preethi Endarenu,’ which aired on Star Suvarna.
In the same year, he appeared in the Kannada TV series ‘Saakshi’ on Udaya TV. He received a huge appreciation from the audience for his performance in the Kannada TV series ‘Naagini’ (2016) in which he played the role of Arjun.
In 2017, he participated as a contestant in the dance reality show ‘Dance Karnataka Dance’ along with Deepika Das, his co-star in the show ‘Naagini.’ The actors were later declared the winner of the show and they received a cash prize of Rs 10 lakh and a trophy.
In 2022, he played the lead role of Siddharth in the episode “In L(aw)ove” of the Telugu anthology drama TV series ‘Meet Cute,’ streaming on the OTT platform SonyLIV. The series was later released in Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi language.
Film
Dheekshith Shetty made his film debut with the Kannada film ‘Dia’ (2020). He played the role of Rohit in the film and was nominated for the ‘Best Supporting Actor- Kannada’ at the South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) 2020.
In 2021, he appeared in the Kannada film ‘KTM’ opposite Sanjana Doss. His performance in the Kannada film ‘Blink’ (2022) in which he played the role of Apurva, received immense appreciation from the audience. Apart from this, he was also appeared in a few short Kannada language films such as ‘Oh Fish’ (2020), ‘Navabelaku’ (2022), and Smile (2022).
In 2021, the actor made his Telugu debut with the crime-thriller film ‘The Rose Villa’ in which he played the lead role of Ravi.
Some of his more Telugu films include ‘Mugguru Monagallu’ (2021) and ‘Dasara’ (2023).
