Amrith Jayan was born in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. He pursued a bachelor’s degree in Theatre Studies, English and Psychology at Christ University, Bangalore. Theatre
Amrith has almost 13 years of experience in theatre, and he has performed in various plays. He has been part of the production of multiple plays like The First Smuggler, Queen of Sheba, William Shakespeare’s ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Medea by Euripides. He made his directorial debut at Thespoindia 21 with the play “Baksa,” which won many theatre awards.

On 1 September 2023, he made his debut in the Netflix film Friday Night Plan in which he played the role of Adi, the younger brother of the character played by Babil Khan.
