Akshay Waghmare started his career as a model and did various modelling projects. He also appeared in a number of television commercials and walked the runway for various renowned designers in India. Soon after stepping into the fashion world, Akshay Waghmare rose to fame and earned several titles including Mr Freshface 2011 and Mr Personality Pune 2011. In 2012, Akshay Waghmare made his acting debut with the Marathi film ‘The Strugglers – Amhi Udya Che Hero,’ directed by Vijay Shinde.
