Neeti was born on Monday, 11 February 1980 (age 39 years; as in 2019), in Agra. Her zodiac sign is Aquarius. Her hometown is in New Delhi. Career
She started her career with the advertisement company, JWT (J. Walter Thompson), where she worked for almost 12 years as a senior art director. In 2006, she joined TV puppet series ‘Galli Galli Sim Sim,’ as a writer, which was aired on DD National. When a reporter asked her how she started her career as a stand-up comedian, she said,
I remember being a fan of the improv show Whose Line Is It Anyway?. I attended the Colin Mochrie and Brad Sherwood show in India, where they needed volunteers for every round. I was called for a sound effects round, where I did the sound effects for Colin when they played out a situation. When I was getting off the stage Colin said, ‘Such an innocent face bit such a devil!’ It was he who suggested that I try stand-up.”
In November 2012, she participated in RAW comedy competition, which was sponsored by the OZ fest, and she won the competition. She started posting stand-up comedy videos on her YouTube channel in 2013 and gained immense popularity. In 2014, she penned down the script of the Bollywood film “O Teri.” She has appeared in many comedy web TV series including ‘Comedy Central Stand-Up, Asia!’ (2016), ‘Comedy Up Late’ (2017), ‘Comicstaan’ (2019), and ‘Almost Sanskari’ (2019).
