A pack may be laid upside-down for each participant to choose a card. The players who drew the two strongest cards would proceed to play as partners, with the highest getting the first pair of places and decks and being the first distributor. The Bridge game includes Bridge whist, Auction bridge, and Contract bridge. A game is won when the opposing team scores no fewer than 100 deception scores below the goal line. A new horizontal strip is placed throughout the scoring paper, below the trick score, to indicate the conclusion of the match and the start of another one. Sole trick points are counted toward the game; any additional touchdowns scored over the line are not.
