Zakia Bari Mamo aka Momo ^[1]The Daily Star was born on Saturday, 19 December 1987 (age 36; as of 2023) in Brahmanbaria, Bangladesh. Her zodiac sign is Sagittarius. In 1995, she won Notun Kuri, the largest child cultural program in Bangladesh. The program was also aired by Bangladesh Television. She has completed her bachelor’s and master’s in drama and dramatics from Jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh.

Initially, Zakia was married to Habib but later on married Ejaz Munna, a film producer in 2010. Together, they have a son named Udbhas. However, Zakia and Ejaz got legally separated in 2013.

Later on, in November 2015, she married Shihab Shaheen, a filmmaker, and revealed her marriage to Shihab on her fourth wedding anniversary with Shihab to the public. This was Zakia Mamo’s third marriage and Shihab’s second marriage. However, they too got divorced in September 2020.

She began her career in the entertainment industry by becoming a model. In 2006, she rose to fame by winning the Lux Channel I Superstar Beauty Pageant.

In 2007, she made a debut with the film “Daruchini Dip” in which she played the role of Jori.

After her first film in 2007, she took a break for almost 7 years and then appeared in the film in 2014. She has worked in several other films like Prem Korbo Tomar Sathe (2014), Chuye Dile Mon (2015), Dahan (2018), Max Ki Gun (2019), Radio (2023), and many more.
