Career
After completing his formal education, Abhishek Sinha shifted to Mumbai, where he began working as a senior copywriter at Ogilvy and Mather in October 2003. He worked there till June 2009. He worked as a creative director in an advertising agency named Leo Burnett Worldwide in June 2009 and worked in it as a creative director till February 2014. From February 2014 to March 2019, Abhishek Sinha worked at Curious as a director and scriptwriter. He directed a short film titled Not Out in 2015. In 2017, he directed Darshan Raval’s music video Tera Zikr. In April 2019, Abhishek Sinha joined Caffeine Films as a scriptwriter and director in Mumbai. In the same year, he directed Darshan Raval’s music video, Hawa Banke. Abhishek has directed numerous ads for Cadbury. In 2022, he began directing his first feature film Bas Karo Aunty. While talking about the film, in an interview, he said,
Nothing beats the thrill of bringing a relatable story to the audience for a filmmaker. Iām excited to be directing a film written by my mentor and one of the closest friends Nitesh Tiwari in collaboration with Nikhil Mehrotra along with stalwart producers like Star Studios, RSVP, Sid Roy Kapur films, and Earthsky productions helmed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari and Nitesh Tiwari.”
