She was born in a Hindu Kshatriya Family. Daily Hunt Her father’s name is Late Bhuvanendran Nair (Babu) who was a film director. Her mother’s name is Late Lathika who was an Indian classical dancer. Her father married twice, and her step-mother’s name is Rathi Devi. Veena has one brother.
On 21 June 2014, Veena got married to the famous radio jockey and singer Swathy Suresh Bhymi. He works at ClubFM Dubai Radio and popularly known as RJ Aman. On 12 Nov 2016, Veena gave birth to a baby boy, and his name is Dhanwin.
She started her career as a model. Initially, she worked in many commercials and print advertisements. She faced the camera for the first time for a telefilm titled ‘Comedy Paarakku Maru Paara,’ directed by her father. She made her television debut in 2007 in the serial ‘Sthreethwam.’ Times of India In 2014, she debuted as an actor in the Malayalam film ‘Vellimoonga,’ in which she played the character of Sholi.
