In an interview, she revealed that she was in twelfth standard when she was diagnosed with Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and Bipolar disorder. She pointed out that her father’s actions and cruelty were the reasons for her condition and revealed that even after taking medications she faced multiple instances of mental breakdown. According to some reports, her condition was first identified by her schoolmates who noticed her OCD tendencies and sudden changes in behaviour and alerted her mother; at first, they tried religious practises and after they showed no results she was taken to the hospital. She was part of a lawsuit filed by her parents where her father was accused of sexually abusing her, however, the case was later settled.

Angeline was 19 years old when she started modelling. She then contested in different beauty pageants. In 2019, she ended up as the runner-up in a beauty pageant and then got selected for the Malabar Fashion League 2020. She was named Miss Thrissur 2021 and later participated in the Forever Miss India 2021.

In 2023, she made her debut in the Malayalam film industry with Omar Lulu’s directorial Nalla Samayam. Contentious Comments About Drug Use
Angeline made some controversial comments after the premiere of Omar Lulu’s directorial Nalla Samayam. The actress said that there was no need to fear the police officials if someone was using M (MDMA). She denied the allegations that the movie promoted drug use and argued that people could try it out once without ending up as addicts. She was heavily trolled and criticised the social media and there was strong pressure on the officials to register complaints against her for promoting drug usage. Later in an interview, she changed her stance and stated that she consciously made those comments to gain popularity and it was not her intention to promote drug usage. She pointed out that when the movie was released she requested many reporters to interview her, which everyone rejected by stating that she was not famous. After the premiere when she saw that the reporters were asking everyone about the promotion of drugs in the film, she saw that as an opportunity and deliberately made those comments. She added that she was not ashamed of the way she chose to get famous and justified her stance by pointing out that it was the coverage for negative publicity and its reach that made her do so.
