Sariful Razz is a Bangladeshi actor and model. He hit the headlines in 2023, after a few of his private videos with some actresses got leaked from his Facebook handle which ultimately lead to his divorce from his wife Pori Moni.

Sariful Razz was born on Monday, 18 November 1991 (age 31 years; as of 2022) in Kasba, Brahmanbaria, Bangladesh. He grew up in Sylhet. He did his schooling at The Aided High School in Sylhet. He later attended the Madan Mohan College, Sylhet. His father’s name is MH Kabir, and his mother’s name is Hasna Kabir. He has a sister named Razia Sultana, and a brother named Ishan Noor.

Wife & Children

He got married to the Bangladeshi actress Pori Moni on 17 October 2021. However, Pori Moni announced her separation from Sariful Razz through a Facebook post on 31 December 2022. In the post, she revealed that she left the Razz’s house on 30 December 2022. After that, in an interview with the Bangladeshi newspaper Prothom Alo, she clarified that there has been no separation done at that moment. She said,

I broke the relationship and came out of Razz’s residence. We parted ways today. I will send the divorce letter soon. ” ^[3]Prothom Alo

On 6 June 2023, in a live program named ‘Meril Café Live’ at the Prothom Alo office, Pori Moni demanded a divorce from Sariful Razz within 24 hours, after some of his private videos with three actresses, Sunerah Binte Kamal, Tanjin Tisha, and Nazifa Tushi got leaked from his Facebook profile. ^[4]Prothom Alo However, Razz later claimed that his Facebook account got hacked and someone has leaked his videos to harass him. Though, the videos were deleted within a few minutes of uploading. The couple together has a son named Shaheem Muhammad Rajya, who was born on 10 August 2022.

Model

Sariful Razz started his career as a ramp model in 2010. In 2012, he was featured on the Eid billboard for the first time, which was a billboard of the fashion house Pride Limited. He has worked as a model for various fashion houses including Code, Grameen Uniqlo, Texsmart, Zurheim, and Trendz. He has also been featured on the cover of various magazines including ‘Ice Today.’

Actor

Film

Sariful Razz made his debut as an actor with the Dhallywood film ‘Ice Cream’ (2016). In 2019, he appeared in the film ‘No Dorai’ in which he played the role of Sohel. In 2022, he appeared in four films named ‘Poran,’ ‘Gunin,’ ‘Hawa,’ and ‘Damal.’

Web Films

In 2020, he appeared in the short web film ‘Mainkar Chipay,’ which was released on the OTT platform ZEE5. His performance as Abir Chowdhury in the web film ‘Networker Baire’ (2021) received immense appreciation from the audience.

Web Series

Sariful Razz played the role of Murad in the web series ‘Infinity’ (2020), which was streaming on the OTT platform Binge.

In 2021, he appeared in the web series ‘Bilaap,’ which premiered on the Bangladeshi OTT platform Cinematic.

Facts/Trivia

• He started his career in 2009 by working in small fashion jobs for which he got Rs 500 only.

• In an interview, he talked about the financial difficulties he faced when he first came to Dhaka in 2008. He revealed that in the initial year of his stay in Dhaka, he did not have enough money to manage to live in the city and because of this he had to shift Narayanganj to his uncle. However, he later returned to Dhaka and established himself as a successful model and actor.

• Apart from films and web series, Razz has also been featured in some television commercials including for Ispahani Mirzapur Tea.
