In 2012, she made her TV debut when she auditioned for the Pakistani dance reality show Nachley on Hum TV. In April 2013, she made her acting debut with the television show Adhoori Aurat on Geo Entertainment.

Saima, in an interview, talked about her experience of working in the Pakistani television drama and revealed that the work culture on the set seemed robotic to her as the directors were always in a hurry to complete the shoot. Since her first show, Saima didn’t work in any other Pakistani television show and said,
