Career
In 1989, Krithivasan joined Tata Consultancy Services in New Delhi. At TCS, he has held key positions in various departments including delivery, customer relationship management, and sales. Krithivasan has assisted significant clients with IT programme governance, creating value beyond cost minimization, accelerating the change management cycle, and digital transformation. Before his appointment as the CEO of Tata Consultancy Services, he served as the president and global head of the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) Business Group at TCS. Before moving to Chennai, he worked with the TCS in Los Angeles. On 16 March 2023, he was appointed as the designated CEO of TCS after Rajesh Gopinathan resigned from his post as MD & CEO of TCS. He is said to take charge as TCS’ Managing Director and CEO on 15 September 2023. Krithivasan is also a member of the Board of Directors of TCS Iberoamerica, TCS Ireland, and the supervisory board of TCS Technology Solutions AG.
