Jiya ThakurĀ is anĀ 8-years-old (born on 24 May 2010)Ā GeminianĀ girl from Hyderabad, Telangana, India. This super-talent has been dancing since early childhood. She came into the spotlight after she won a gold medal in theĀ Indian HHI 2016 Dhee juniors. Two years later, she entered DID Li’l Masters Season 4Ā as a wildcard entry and surprised everyone with herĀ dancingĀ versatility at such a tender age. The judges – Marzi Pestonji, Farah Khan and Siddharth Anand also lauded her for delivering amazing dance performances week after week.
On 17 June 2018, she was presented the DID Li’l Masters Season 4Ā trophy crowning her as the ultimate dancing kid superstar along with a cash prize of Ā ā¹5 lakhs.
Family & Caste
She hails from a middle-class Kshatriya-Hindu family of Hyderabad. Her motherĀ Parvati Thakur, and her maternalĀ uncle, Thakur Ganesh have always been the source of hope and the pillar of her strength.
