Hiriyur took home the trophy of the Indian television series Comedy Khiladigalu- Season 4 on ZEE Kannada along with a cash prize of Rs. 5 lakhs. The show was hosted by Master Anand and had Prem, Rakshitha, and Jaggesh as the judges. On winning, Harish was also felicitated with a medal by judge Jaggesh.

Harish is a theatre artist who has performed in several street plays. He is also the vice president of the Akhila Karnataka Vratti Theatre Artistes’ Association. He has played several characters in plays including Mukah in the play Kunta Kona Mukah Jana, Chilkya in Chaddi Chilkya, Maddi Malkya, and Harish in Mangalore Waiter, Hubli Rani. He has also appeared in many Kannada dramas including Kunta-Kona-Mooka-Jana.
