Career

Azekah Daniel began her career as a model. She worked with many renowned designers like GUL Ahmed, Tana Bana, and Nishat Linen in Pakistan. After doing a lot of big and successful modelling projects, and becoming a superhit model, Azekah shifted her interest to acting. In 2015, Azekah Daniel made her acting debut with the television show ‘Mera Yahan Koi Nahi,’ which was aired on Geo TV. In the same year, she was seen on a romantic drama series, Anaya Tumhari Hui. Later, she became part of many big projects including ‘Noor Jehan,’ ‘Rishtay Kachay Dhagoon Seand,’ ‘Dukh Kam Na Honge,’ ‘Ishq Bepannah,’ ‘Malaal e Yaar,’ ‘Aao Laut Chalein,’ and many more. Azekah Daniel, in 2018, was casted for a thriller television series aired on ARY Digital, Balaa. She portrayed the character of Saba, which left everyone amazed with her acting skills. In 2019, Azekah Daniel became a part of the Pakistani crime-drama television series Cheekh which proved to be a blockbuster. ‘Cheekh’ and ‘Balaa’ proved to be the breakthrough for her career.

Azekah Daniel made her film debut with ‘Pari’ in 2018. Pari is a Pakistani horror film directed by Syed Atif Ali, a popular Pakistani director. Azekah played the character of Pari’s mother in the film. Azekah got the opportunity to share the screen with Qavi Khan, Khushi Maheen, Rasheed Naz, Saleem Mairaj, Junaid Akhtar, and Faiq Asim. The movie was a great hit at the box office.

Controversy

During an interview with a local magazine, Fuchsia Magazine, Azekah Daniel claimed that she had been facing discrimination at her workplace since the beigning of her career. Azekah belongs to a Christan family, which is a minority group in Pakistan. She revealed that it had become so common for her that she didn’t even get with that anymore.
