Career
At the age of 20, Amit spent a lot of time at her cousin’s salon and that’s where he got inspired to become a hairstylist. Amit Thakur’s first breakthrough was when he styled Bollywood actor Huma Qureshi’s hair; he styled her hair for public events including magazine photoshoots and film promotions.

During a telephonic conversation initiated by a reporter, Amit initially confirmed it was him, but on being asked if he was associated with Deepika Padukone’s chat, he denied it and said,
