Rohit Madanlal Yadav was born on Wednesday, 21 July 2004 (age 19 years; as of 2023) in Dhankya, Rajasthan. His zodiac sign is Cancer. Since childhood, Rohit was interested in sports and would often play Kho Kho with his uncle in his village. Later, he found his passion for Kabaddi. According to Rohit, after he decided to pursue Kabaddi professionally, his parents were very supportive, but they asked Rohit not to give up on his studies.

Career

Under 19 Kabaddi 

During schooling, Rohit decided to pursue Kabaddi professionally. According to him, the nearest sports club to his house, Mahadev Club, was 15 Km away, where he was trained under Arjun Tetrewal; however, in 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the club shut down, so Rohit started practising Kabaddi at Chaugan Stadium and trained there for 3 years before he played for under19 Kabaddi tournaments at school and district level. During one of the school tournaments, he was selected for the state Kabaddi team, and he was later selected for the national junior Kabaddi team.

Yuva Kabaddi Series

In July 2023, Rohit Yadav played for Periyar Panthers in the summer 2023 edition of the Yuva Kabaddi Series. During the tournament, he won many accolades including Best Raider of the Match and Kabaddi Ka Kamaal of the Match. He played 17 matches in the tournament and collected 145 points. Rohit Yadav got 10 Super Raids throughout this tournament and was awarded Super Raid specialist of the Yuva Kabaddi Series Summer Edition 2023.

In August 2023, Rohit Yadav became the first player to be chosen by Aravalli Arrows to play at the Monsoon 2023 edition of the Yuva Kabaddi Series. He won the Power Raider of the Match title during the Monsoon 2023 edition of the Yuva Kabaddi Series. The tournament was won by Rohit’s team, Aravalli Arrows.

Pro Kabaddi League

In October 2023, Rohit Yadav was bought by U Mumba in Category D to play in season 10 of the Pro Kabaddi League for Rs. 9 Lakhs. ^[1]Instagram –  Rohit Yadav
