Career

Play

During her college days, she appeared in many plays such as ‘The Dumb Dancer,’ ‘Behind the Desire,’ ‘The Panic Day,’ and ‘Raja Rani la Gham Hava.’ In 2016, she acted in the play ‘Amar Photo Studio’ directed by Nipun Dharmadhikari and featured Amey Wagh, Sakhi Gokhale, Suvrat Joshi, and Siddhesh Purkar. It is the first Marathi play that explored time travelling and won the second runner-up position in the Maharashtra State Professional Drama Competition 2017.

Television

Pooja debuted on Television with Zee Marathi’s daily soap opera ‘Dil, Dosti, and Duniyadari’ (2015). She played the role of Anna Mathews. This serial won several awards at Zee Marathi Utsav Natyancha Awards 2015. In 2017, Zee Marathi launched the sequel of this serial, ‘Dil Dosti Dubara,’ in which Pooja played the role of Anandi. Apart from this, she also acted in the Hindi film Rangrezz, and a short film, ‘Pahili Bhet.’
