Death/Murder
On 23 November 2023, Malti Devi was found hanging from a hook in the roof at her in-law’s residence in village Kali Jagadishpur, district Sant Kabir Nagar, Uttar Pradesh. Her body was recovered by the police and was sent for post-mortem in a hospital. He claimed that Malti was killed by her in-laws as they used to harass her over dowry. Marital Trouble
Before her death, she had a dispute with her husband over dowry and extramarital affairs. In one of her videos, Malti revealed that her husband Vishnuraj used to beat her. On 11 November 2023, she uploaded a video on her channel in which she said that Vishnuraj was maligning her over having an affair with a man named Arjun. She also talked about ending her life in the video. In another video, she revealed that Vishnuraj and some of his friends conspired and took all her jewellery by befooling her.
