Mahender Singh was born as ‘Mahender Singh Dhaka’ ^[1]Kabaddi Adda on Tuesday, 10 December 1996 (age 27 years; as of 2023) in Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. His zodiac sign is Sagittarius. Mahender completed his schooling at the Gsss Ghasnoo High School (GGHS) situated in the village of Bhadyal, Balh, Mandi. He completed his graduation at the Government Post-Graduate College, Bilaspur, District Bilaspur.

Career

In 2017, Mahendra Singh was bought by the kabaddi team ‘Bengaluru Bulls’ to play as a defender in season 5 of the Pro Kabaddi League, in which his tackle strike rate was 50%. He was then retained by the same team for seasons 6,7,8, and 9. In season 9 of the Pro Kabaddi League, Mahender also served as the captain of the ‘Bengaluru Bulls.’

In 2018, Mahender Singh was part of the Services Sports Control Board Kabaddi team that played and won the Kabaddi Federation Cup. In 2021, he represented the Services Sports Control Board Kabaddi team and won the 47th Inter Services Kabaddi Championship, which was held at the Delhi Airforce Station.

In 2022, Mahender participated in the 36th National Games in which he represented the Services Sports Control Board team and won the bronze medal.

In 2023, Mahender was selected by the Mumbai-based Kabaddi team ‘U Mumba’ and was picked out at the price of 40.25 lakh rupees to play as a defender in season 10 of the Pro Kabaddi League, held in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

He had a tackle success rate of 41% in the entire tournament.

Before becoming part of the Pro Kabaddi League, Mahender used to play in many state-level and All-India kabaddi championships.
