Anuradha Iyengar was born on Thursday, 10 September 1992 (age 31 years; as of 2023) in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Her zodiac sign is Virgo.

Anuradha Iyengar developed an interest in dancing at the age of 8. Soon, her parents enrolled her in Bharatanatyam classes. She also started experimenting with other dance styles. Anuradha Iyengar lost both her parents in 2009 when she was 18 years old and had to take care of herself and her younger sister financially.

Career

Anuradha participated as a contestant in the 5th season of the dance reality show Dance India Dance and joined the team Mudasar Ki Mandali. She gained recognition after her performance on the song ‘Ghani Bawri’ from the film Tanu Weds Manu Returns (2015) earned huge views on social media.

Thereafter, she appeared as a choreographer on the dance reality show Super Dancer in 2019 on Sony Entertainment Television and mentored Jayshree.

She then participated as a choreographer on the dance show Nach Baliye 9 in 2019. During the show, all five choreographers, including Anuradha, initially boycotted the show due to a controversy; however, later returned after persuasion from the judges.

In 2020, Anuradha mentored Paramdeep Singh, one of the finalists, on the dance reality show India’s Best Dancer, which was aired on Sony Entertainment Television.

In 2021, Anuradha Iyengar participated as a choreographer in the dance show Super Dancer Chapter 4 on Sony Entertainment Television and mentored Arshiya Sharma.

In 2022, she appeared as a choreographer in the dance reality shows Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa season 10 on Colors TV and DID Super Moms on Zee TV.

She participated as a choreographer for actor Shoaib Ibrahim in the dance reality show ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’ in 2023.
