Anikha Surendran is an Indian actress who primarily appears in Malayalam and Tamil films. She rose to popularity in 2019 for playing the role of Swetha in the popular Tamil film Viswasam, starring Ajith Kumar and Nayanthara.

Film

When Anikha was one and a half years old, she started her acting career as a child artist in Malayalam films. In 2007, she appeared in an uncredited role in the film Chotta Mumbai in which she played the role of Vasco’s daughter; the character Vasco was played by actor Mohanlal.

In 2010, Anikha made her debut as a child actor in the Malayalam film Kadha Thudarunnu in which she played the role of Laya.

Later, she acted in a few Malayalam films such as Four Friends (2010) as Devootty, Race (2011) as Achu, 5 Sundarikal (2013) as Sethu Lakshmi, Neelakasham Pachakadal Chuvanna Bhoomi (2013) as Wafamol, Nayana (2014) as Nayana, and Onnum Mindathe (2014) as Kunchi. In 2015, Anikha made her Tamil debut with the film Yennai Arindhaal in which she played the role of Isha.

In 2015, she gained recognition with her performance as Shivani in the Malayalam film Bhaskar The Rascal. In 2019, Anikha shot to fame in the Tamil film industry with the film Viswasam in which she played the role of Swetha.

In 2021, she played the role of Anu in the film Deep Bay of Bengal, directed by Bangladeshi director Borhan Khan. In 2022, she played the role of Aditi in her Telugu debut film The Ghost, starring Nagarjuna and Sonal Chauhan.

In the same year, Anikha rose to popularity for playing the lead role of Satya in the Telugu film Butta Bomma.
