Amandine Petit, was born on Tuesday, September 30, 1997 (26 years old; as of 2023), in Bourguébus, a village in Calvados, nearly 30 kilometers from Caen in Normandy. Her zodiac sign is Libra. Miss Normandy Journey
In 2015, she made her mark in pageantry, standing as the first runner-up in Miss Lower Normandy. This achievement led her to participate in Miss Normandy 2015, where she got the position of second runner-up. Five years later, Petit once again stepped into the limelight. She was then crowned Miss Normandy in 2020, which got her a place in the Miss France 2021 competition.

Petit showcased her elegance and charm in the finals of Miss France. She got selected for the top fifteen and then into the elite top five. Ultimately, she was announced the winner of Miss France by the previous titleholder, Clémence Botino of Guadeloupe. This crowning moment marked her as the seventh Normandy native to be honored with this title.
Following her crowning, Petit’s schedule was filled with appearances both within France and on international platforms. Her engagements ranged from participating in Fort Boyard, gracing the 2021 French Open and Cannes Film Festival, to walking the ramps in cities like Barcelona and Casablanca. With the title of Miss France, she got a place at Miss Universe 2021 to represent France. She made it to the list of the top 21 contenders.

The year 2022 saw Petit in a reality show. She was in the 12th season of ‘Danse avec les stars’ (the French adaptation of Dancing with the Stars) as a celebrity participant. Dancing alongside Anthony Colette, they were a part of the competition until their exit on 7 October 2022, ranking eighth overall.

- At the age of 17, after meeting Malika Ménard, a fellow Normandy native who got the Miss France title in 2010, Petit felt a deep inspiration to embark on her own pageantry journey.
- Amandine Petit’s participation in competitions had been a family affair. Her maternal grandmother, Nicole Belloteau, was crowned queen of Château de Creully at the age of 20. In 1934, Madeleine Courvalet, great-grandmother of Amandine, was crowned Queen of Creully.
